Community Service

Many successful Hopewell businesses are by former students of  “Mrs. Pace’s and The Hopewell School of Childhood. Her students gave back to the community before they ever left.

Once again, these businesses are from students who learned to rebuild and strengthen, as long as they lived in the Hopewell community by visiting its schools, banks, legal offices, real-estate offices, police station, fire department and the nursing home as the pictures show. They were exposed to all different types of careers and livelihoods, to explore or question, to perceive relationships between fields of knowledge and experiences. Grandmother explored different kinds of education with no oppression. By discovering and building on each child’s strengths, she instilled a lifetime of enthusiasm for learning.
